A heartbreaking motorcycle crash in Phoenix has left a family grieving and searching for answers — and for a missing motorcycle.
On the evening of June 8, 2025, 19-year-old Annabel Force was riding her 2022 black Yamaha YZF-R7 eastbound on I-10 when she attempted to transition onto the southbound I-17 on-ramp. At approximately 7:05 p.m., under still-unclear circumstances, Annabel lost control and struck the median wall. The impact caused her to be thrown over the barrier and fall roughly 80 feet. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety later confirmed that Annabel died from blunt force injuries. The Maricopa County Medical Examiner ruled her death an accident.
A Shocking Twist: Her Motorcycle Was Stolen
As if the tragedy weren’t devastating enough, Annabel’s motorcycle was stolen from the crash site before law enforcement could arrive. The theft has added to the family’s anguish, not only for its brazenness but for the loss of a bike that held deep emotional value.
Annabel’s wife, Sakura Keiser, said the motorcycle had brought Annabel pure joy in the weeks leading up to the crash. “She was the happiest person in the world to start riding,” Sakura shared. “Just return it, please. I understand that it looked like it was a freebie on the side of the road, but that’s my wife’s bike. I’d like to have it back. I need to see what happened. I need to know what caused the accident.”
A Life Cut Short
Friends and family describe Annabel as “a ball of light” — full of ambition, joy, and love. Her sudden loss has devastated her community, and a GoFundMe page has been created to assist with memorial expenses.
